What do we do?
The Art Studio is situatde in Maroubra beach, a bright space with ocean views just across the road from Mahoon Rock Pool.
We offer weekly Kids Art Classes, Teens Painting & Drawing Classes, Creative Birthday Parties and School Holiday Workshops.
Playful, colourful and totally hands-on, The Art Studio’s Creative Kids art classes make learning painting and drawing techniques fun. These classes are designed to help kids develop creative thought, inspire imagination, encourage self-expression and foster artistic potential. Throughout the term, we discover the world of art through a variety of themes and art materials.
CREATIVE KIDS - suitable for age 5- 9 years old
Explore Drawing and Painting classes for little beginners. Develop imagination & self expression.
WHEN
Wednesday & Thursday 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
Saturday 9:00 am to 10:30 am & 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
YOUNG ARTISTS - suitable for age 9-15 years old
Drawing & Painting classes for kids who wish to develop their artistic skills & passion for art.
WHEN
Monday & Tuesday 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
SKETCH CLUB - suitable for age 10 - 15 years old
A special program for teens who are interested in Sketching & Drawing, developing their individual style and artistic skills.
Friday 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
OUR ART TEACHERS
Our team of artists will guide you step by step, to finiding your inspiration and creativity, learn about the fundamentals of art making and creative ideas.
WHY ART CLASSES ARE MORE IMPORTANT THEN EVER?
While kids love to get their hands dirty with paint, the benefits of art classes for kids extend far beyond the creation of a pretty picture. Many studies now show that children regularly engaged in creativity, such as painting and drawing classes, develop a greater capacity for problem solving, visual understanding, out of the box thinking, and good communication skills. Getting time off the screens and engaging with hands on creativity, as well as making new friends is a huge bonus!

Our creative birthday parties are memorable and fun, keeping the kids entertained and teaching them something new
The Art Studio is located right by the ocean at the north end of Maroubra beach. With beautiful ocean views and fresh sea breeze, you’d love having your party at this inspiring venue.
Kds get to wear colourful artist hats and make their own masterpiece! You can choose painting on canvas and clay creations. Our lovely tutors will guide the kids step by step for the ultimate creative experience!
We host your party for 2 hours with music, art creative atmosphere. You can bring light snacks and a cake, we provide everything else.
WHEN
Saturdays from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm
Sundays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
