START ART SCHOOL is an independent children's art school located in a large, light & airy studio in Willoughby.

ABOUT US
We offer a diverse range of quality art lessons including drawing, painting, printmaking, polymer clay & sculpture.
Classes have a maximum of 12 children per lesson.
Our TERM CLASSES run on weekdays after school and on Saturdays. Each lesson is 1.5hr in length.
Our HOLIDAY PROGRAM is made up of two 3-hour lessons each day.
9.30am - 12.30pm & 1.30pm - 4.30pm.
Lunchtime supervision is provided for children staying the full day – at no additional charge.
Bookings open one month prior to school holidays and can be made via our website.
BIRTHDAY PARTY are offered on Sundays, details are on our website.
START ART SCHOOL has been operating since 2016, we are solely focused on teaching art to preschool and primary school children, using a wide range of art mediums within a fun engaging curriculum.
We provide an environment for creative thinking in a non-judgemental way, believing there is no “right” or “wrong” way to express yourself artistically, removing the fear of failure and enabling children to build self-esteem in a supportive environment where there are no mistakes, only opportunities to create.
We believe creativity is an essential skill for success in the world today.

Make your child’s birthday party a fun & memorable occasion.
You choose a theme and we create an art lesson to meet your child's requirements.
Each child goes home with an art work and has engaged in a creative art experience!
VENUE
In the START ART SCHOOL art room – 6 Prentice Lane, Willoughby.
FORMAT
- Art parties are held on Sunday between 10am – 4pm.
- You get 15mins prior the art lesson to decorate the art room before welcoming guests.
- 30mins after the art lesson for cutting the cake/eating.
PARTY PACKAGES
5-6 YEARS OLD
art lesson 1hr – (art room in use for 2hrs15min)
(DECORATE ROOM - 15min | WELCOME GUESTS - 15min | ART LESSON - 1hr | EAT - 30min | PACK UP - 15min)
10 children @ $60.00 per child - $600.00+GST = $660.00
This is the minimum fee even if there are fewer than 10 children.
Additional children will be $40+GST per child.
Maximum 12 children

Exceeding 12 children in this age group requires a teacher assistant,
This will incur an additional cost of $160.00+GST for a group of between 13 & 16 children.
6-12 YEARS OLD

10 children @ $65.00 per child - $650.00+GST = $715.00
This is the minimum fee even if there are fewer than 10 children.
Additional children will be $45+GST per child.

13-15 YEARS OLD

the 6-12 package applies unless a longer art lesson is requested

- Birthday cake
- Catering (party food, drinks, etc)
- Decorations, cups, plates, lolly & favour bags, etc.
