With over 40 years of experience in Brisbane, Russell Macarthur Taekwondo & Hapkido is one of Queensland’s largest and most respected martial arts clubs.
We’re not a big corporate business – we’re a community-focused club that puts students first, offering great value, high standards, and a warm, supportive environment where kids (and adults!) can thrive.
Our programs focus on the true values of martial arts – respect, confidence, discipline, and self-defence – all taught in a fun, friendly atmosphere that encourages students to do their best while making lifelong friends.
💙 Taekwondo is our core program – a dynamic Korean martial art that builds strength, focus, fitness, and self-confidence. It’s all about learning how to defend yourself while becoming calmer, kinder, and more resilient.
🖤 We also offer Hapkido, a powerful and graceful martial art that blends movement, balance, and energy to teach harmony between the mind, body, and spirit.
