At Ortiz Martial Arts our aim is to not exclusively teach martial arts but promote the importance of responsibility, discipline, confidence and respect through martial arts. Furthermore we give importance in teaching martial arts to the highest degrees through our uniquely constructed programs.

We are a family run academy and take pride in providing the best martial arts knowledge to all ages while merging it with fun, fitness and competition for creating the best learning environment possible.

🥋 OUR CLASSES

The programs that are offered for kids and teens are Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and Self Defence. These programs are structured to ensure that kids are able to reach their full potential as well as improving their self-esteem, confidence and discipline. All kids and teens programs are separated by age with some classes being mixed to ensure everyone has a comfortable learning environment.

⭐ Kids 4-6

The kids 4-6 class is focused on the essentials in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, with elements of self defence and sport related techniques. The class involves interactive games and drills to make the session fun while teaching them BJJ.

⭐ Kids 7-9

The kids 7-9 class is heavily focused on the essentials and fundamentals in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is more sport orientated with self defence as well. The class involves interactive games, drills and sparring to make sessions more enjoyable while also learning BJJ.

⭐ Teens 10-14

The Teens 10-14 class is heavily focused in sport oriented Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with focus on improving areas in fitness, confidence, strength and knowledge for competition. Teens have mixed classes with adults for BJJ, Self-Defence and No-Gi while also having separate BJJ classes for their age group. The Teens classes involve BJJ games, drills and sparring to make sessions more realistic for BJJ.

⭐ Adults 15+

The programs that are offered for Adults are; Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Self Defence, No-Gi and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). These programs are structured for adults of all ages and levels. There are classes of different levels and styles to meet everyone’s needs. The Adults programs give the opportunity for them to reach their fullest potential physically, mentally and technically, while becoming a better version of themselves.
