Newcastle Contemporary Dance Academy (NCDA) was established in 1987 and has been operating for 33 years in the Newcastle and Hunter areas. We currently have 3 convenient locations, Wallsend, Waratah and Thornton.

★ School Dance Programs at Maryland, Waratah and Glendore Public Schools

★ Hunter Region Dance Festival and Star Struck groups

All classes are taught in a professional manner, with an emphasis on fun, fitness and friendship. Classes are suitable from 3 years to adult for students who are learning for fun, through to professional.

We have an Annual Showcase each year at the Civic Theatre Newcastle and hold only ONE major rehearsal.

All students who participate in our Annual Showcase receive a beautiful trophy on Presentation Day.

Our academy also offers one full paid scholarship each year, this is awarded at our Annual Showcase.
