🥋 About Gracie Barra Wetherill Park

Founded in 2018 by Coach Jeremy Mateo, a brown belt under Professor Marcelo Rezende, Gracie Barra Wetherill Park is part of a global network of over 800 schools. Recognised for teaching the highest level of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, our school focuses on grappling-based self-defence, physical education, and character development.

🌟 Children’s Martial Arts Training

Our GBKids Program (ages 3–15) provides a safe and supportive environment where children learn focus, discipline, persistence, cooperation, and respect. Beyond self-defence, kids develop strong values and character that help them succeed in school, at home, and in life.

🥷 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for Adults

The GB Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Program teaches effective self-defence while building fitness, discipline, and healthy habits. Students also experience the philosophy of Gracie Barra, forming strong bonds with training partners and gaining confidence both on and off the mats.

🛡️ Self-Defence Classes

Our self-defence program introduces men and women to practical Jiu-Jitsu techniques for real-world safety. Women can choose to train in female-only sessions, focusing on realistic attack-and-escape drills combined with a strong fitness component that goes beyond what regular gyms offer.

BarraFit is a unique program that blends fitness training with self-defence. It’s designed to get you in the best shape of your life while teaching practical skills that keep you safe.
