Canberra Kyokushin Karate - We run a popular After School Program for kids & separate classes for teens & adults.

Karate is an art-form which originated in Japan and is translated as the martial art of the "empty hand".

There are lots of different styles of Karate which all focus on the purpose of self defence. Our style of karate is called Kyokushin.

Typically, a Kyokushin class will focus on fitness, conditioning, pad & bag work, flexibility and plenty rounds of sparring and tactics. Kyokushin in translation is "the way of the ultimate truth" and is a style famous for its seriously practical self defense exercised both inside the dojo and its application at competition.
