Allstars Studio

Allstars Studio began in September 2004 with a very small number of students who had been attending a dance school in Kendall which closed its doors without warning.

Ballet and Tap Teachers were brought in to run the existing classes, and Kate began her Hip Hop and Jazz classes, bringing with her the vibrancy of new, modern and energetic choreography from the city. The school soon began to rise in numbers by the end of that year and the name “Allstars Studio” was chosen, as in Kate’s eye’s her students were “All Stars” in their own right.

Here at Allstars we strive to provide exceptional training in all aspects of dance and theatre arts. All our teachers are highly qualified and experienced, Classes are taught with enthusiasm and passion, the main focus is to help each student reach their full potential and beyond!

We offer classes for recreational students through to the serious dancers who wish to pursue a career in dance.

CLASSES

★ Ballet

Allstars offers R.A.D (Royal Academy of Dance) ballet training from Pre-Primary right through to Advanced 2. Ballet lays a strong technical foundation for dance technique and plays an integral role in grooming a dancer to excel in all styles of dance.

★ Jazz / Hip Hop

Our Jazz style is infused with a strong hip hop and commercial influence and quirky personality set to hot current music.

★ Modern & Contemporary

★ Musical Theatre

Singing/Acting and Musical Theatre is again being offered in 2 levels, Broadway/Junior, Intermediate and Senior classes. This gives the ability of age-appropriate content to be completed in all classes for a more exciting and relatable program for all students.

★ Tap / Cabaret

We offer high quality training in Tap, this year offering classes from Beginner to Advanced students. As well as classes you can participate in private tuition in Tap. Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using one’s shoes and we offer students to participate in yearly examinations.

★ Calisthenics

Calisthenics is an extremely fun and active class but requires a good amount of concentration and dedication to master. A very rewarding class to be a part of with the item produced at the end always being a crowd favourite!

★ Acro

We have several classes in Acrobatics and Tumbling on offer from Tiny tumblers/Intro to Acro - advanced classes. All existing & new students will be assessed for all Acrobatics classes to ensure your child is placed in the correct class for their ability (Please note classes selected on ability, not age) We need to ensure the safety of all students who participate in this class. Students need to meet specific criteria, flexibility and strength to move up levels.

Our classes run by the motto 'Fun, fitness and friendship'.
