At Absolute Self Defence, we help children, teens, and adults learn practical self-defence skills in a safe, welcoming, and fun environment. Founded on a passion for martial arts and a commitment to student well-being, our school in Mt Kuring-Gai has been teaching Hapkido since 2018.

Hapkido is a Korean martial art designed for self-defence, combining strikes, kicks, joint locks, ground defence, rolls, and falls. It’s non-competitive and focused on safety, confidence, and real-world skills. Students of all ages enjoy learning while developing discipline, respect, social skills, and self-control.

We offer age-appropriate programs so every student can progress at their own pace:

- Raptors (4-5 yrs) – gross motor skills and school readiness

- Hawks (5-9 yrs) – intro to self-defence and physical development

- Falcons (9-13 yrs) – self-defence, mindfulness, and Hapkido basics

- Teens (13+ yrs) – advanced self-defence and martial arts

- IHA Eagles (13+ & adults) – Kwan Nyom Hapkido with the International Hapkido Alliance

School Holiday Programs – fun, active camps during holidays

Jidoja Leadership Program – for Falcons, Teens, and Adults

Overlapping ages allow us to place each student in the program that best suits their development.
