At 5th Wave, we offer a fun, safe, and supportive environment for children to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). Our programs focus not only on fitness and skill but also on building confidence, resilience, character, and respect. We believe BJJ is more than a sport—it’s a community and a way to develop lifelong values.

🐒 Monkeys Classes (2-4 yrs)

Our youngest students, the Monkeys, learn essential physical skills, Stranger Danger Awareness, and basic self-defence in a playful, engaging way. Classes are designed to foster development through fun and safe play, helping little ones grow both physically and socially.

🦍 Chimps & Silverbacks (5 yrs and up)

Older children and teens in the Chimps and Silverbacks programs focus on physical fitness, mental strategy, and skill development. BJJ challenges both the body and mind, helping children develop strength, coordination, confidence, and problem-solving abilities. Our instructors act as mentors, supporting growth both on and off the mat.

Founded in 2016, 5th Wave has grown from a small studio into a thriving martial arts community. Since July 2023, Coach Teylore and his family have proudly led the club, continuing the tradition of integrity, respect, and inclusion. We encourage all members, from our youngest Monkeys to adult students, to explore all classes, make friends, and feel part of the family.
