Overview
- KIPA is BeXD Create’s weekly musical theatre program for kids and teens who love to move, sing, imagine, and create. Running every Saturday, KIPA combines acting, singing, and dance into one supportive class, where students train as part of a consistent cohort. Each term, the group works together on a creative performance project — such as a short musical, live showcase, or music video — giving students a clear goal and a strong sense of belonging.
KIPA is designed to build confidence, friendships, and creative wellbeing, not just performance skills. Classes balance structured training with play, collaboration, and age-appropriate challenges, so students feel safe to try new things and grow at their own pace.
What students gain through KIPA:
- Weekly training in acting, singing, and dance
- A creative term project to work toward together
- Increased confidence speaking, performing, and working in a group
- Strong peer connections and a sense of community
- Skills that transfer to school, presentations, and everyday life
KIPA is taught by experienced performing arts educators who understand how kids learn best. Our teaching approach is supportive, clear, and encouraging — especially for students who are building confidence, are new to performing arts, or learn at different speeds.
This program is ideal for kids and teens who:
- Love musical theatre, storytelling, or performing
- Want to build confidence and social skills
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Are looking for a creative, screen-free weekend activity
KIPA runs on Saturday mornings in Indooroopilly and is continuing into 2026 as BeXD’s core weekly program.
If you’re looking for a performing arts class that prioritises joy, growth, and community, KIPA is a wonderful place to start.
