Welcome to BeXD Create — where joy, confidence, and creative wellbeing take centre stage!

BeXD Create is a musical theatre-focused performing arts school for kids and teens. Our programs are designed to help young people build confidence, find their voice, and feel part of a supportive creative community — all while learning real, practical performance skills.

At BeXD, we believe performing arts should add to a child’s life, not overwhelm it. Yes, students learn to act, sing, and dance — but more importantly, they learn how to work as a team, express themselves safely, and grow in confidence both on and off the stage. We’re not focused on shaping cookie-cutter performers or high-pressure outcomes. We care about authentic expression, joy in the process, and helping students feel good in their own skin.

All BeXD programs are taught by working industry professionals from musical theatre, live performance, recording, and education backgrounds. Our teaching is grounded in real-world experience and delivered with care, clarity, and an understanding of how each young person learns best.

Our approach is especially supportive for students who are:

- Neurodivergent or learning at different paces

We actively welcome students of different backgrounds and abilities. If you’re unsure whether a program is the right fit, we encourage you to reach out — we’re always happy to talk it through and we offer trial classes and guarantees to take away the risk of trying something new.

Our Current Programs

KIPA – Kids in Performing Arts (Ages 6–16)

A weekly Saturday musical theatre program combining acting, singing, and dance. Each term, students work as a cohort on a creative performance project — such as a short musical, live showcase, or music video — building skills, friendships, and confidence along the way.

Musical in a Week – Holiday Programs (Ages 6–16)

A full musical theatre production created in just six days. Students rehearse, perform, and experience the excitement of putting on a real show — complete with costumes, microphones, lighting, and teamwork. These workshops are fast-paced, joyful, and deeply confidence-building.

Our programs run in Indooroopilly during the term and Chelmer during school holidays, with a growing focus on musical theatre training that supports students long-term.

Our goal is simple:

To help young people enjoy being creative, feel confident expressing themselves, and walk away from every program feeling proud of what they’ve achieved.
