- Perfect bonding session over creating ceramic pieces with your favourite mini me.
What you will learn:
- the essential building techniques in pottery such as hand-building, slab and pinch techniques.
- application of glazes.
- adding textures to clay.
- to have fun with clay.
- enjoy the calming and therapeutic benefits of creating with ceramic in a home studio setting.
Each workshop Includes:
- 3 hour session
- 3 kg of clay
- Tools and building materials
Each session with start with a discussion with what you love to make together.
Some projects the kids love are:
- Treat platter
- Hanging wall art
- Bowls
- Succulent pots
- Tic-Tac-Toe game set
- Small vases
- Cups
Package for 1 parent and 1 child (age 6 to 11 years old)
$160
After The Workshop:
All projects will be bisque fired first and then glaze fired.
Glazed pieces will be coated in food safe clear glaze,.
Unglazed pieces will be glazed in white or clear glaze.
You will be contacted by email for collection (usually 4 - 5 weeks).
The Details:
1. Minimum of 2 pairs of parent and child to start a workshop.
2. All materials provided - just bring morning snack and lunch box.
3. Water, fruits and nibbles will be provided. Please advise dietary allergies.
COVID-19 Safety:
The ensure the safety of all students, we are following these guidelines.
1. All members in the studio are fully vaccinated.
2. Please present proof of vaccination of parent and child (if he/she has it).
3. Please do not attend the class if any family member or child is unwell.
4. A negative RAT test result is required to be sent by 9am by email or text message.
5. In case of class cancellation due to COVID-19 outbreaks, public health orders or shutdowns, credit notes will be issued and may be used towards any sessions within 12 months.
