5.0Overview
- Enjoy the calming and therapeutic benefits of creating with ceramic in a home studio setting. This ceramic workshop is great for kids aged 8-13 years old. The workshop starts with an intro and discussion with the kids and concludes with a plan of what they can make. Kids are welcome to bring ideas of what they want to make too.
Summary:
- 9:30 am to 3pm
- Small group of 4 to 7 kids
- 5.5 hour session (with snack and lunch break)
- All materials included
Students will learn:
- the essential building techniques in pottery such as hand-building, slab and pinch techniques
- adding textures to clay
- learn to identify and use glazes
- to have fun creating with clay
The Details:
1. Certified - Working with Children Check
2. Minimum of 4 students to start and a maximum 8 to have enough attention for each.
3. All creative materials provided - just bring a lunch box and snacks.
4. Water, fruits and nibbles will be provided. Please advise dietary allergies.
5. If you like to drop off the child earlier or pick up later, it’s $15 per half hour.
6. A negative RAT test result is required to be sent by 8:30am by text or email to hello@elainegwithlove.com
COVID-19 Safety:
To ensure the safety of all students, we are following these guidelines.
1. All members in the studio are fully vaccinated.
2. Please do not attend the class if any family member or child is unwell.
3. In case of class cancellation due to COVID-19 outbreaks, public health orders or shutdowns, credit notes will be issued and may be used towards any sessions within 12 months.
COLLECTION
1. You will receive a text message when the works are ready in about 3 to 5 weeks.
2. Works not collected after 2 weeks from the collection deadline will be donated or disposed of.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Elaine G With Love reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any workshop if there are insufficient students enrolled (minimum of 4 students). In this event, you will have the option to choose an alternate date or receive 100% credit to use towards any other workshops. If numbers are low, notice will be given 7 days prior to the workshop.
Cancellation by client:
o7 days prior to activity: choose between 90% refund or 100% credit
o< 7 days and up to 48 hours prior: No refund or 50% credit
o< 48 hours prior (including Covid-19): No refund nor credit
Credits issued are valid for 12 months and can be used towards any workshop, subject to availability.
Bookings are transferable to another participant when organised by cancelling party.
