5.0Overview
- Enjoy the calming and therapeutic benefits of creating with ceramic in a home studio setting.
This ceramic workshop is for beginners age 8-13 years old.
Each workshop Includes:
- 5.5 hour session (with snack and lunch break)
- 4 to 6 children
- All materials included
Students will learn:
- the essential building techniques in pottery such as hand-building, slab and pinch techniques.
- learn to use glazes
- adding textures to clay
- to have fun with clay
The workshop always starts with an intro and discussion with the kids and conclude with a plan of what they can make.
Kids are welcome to bring ideas of what they want to make too.
The Details:
1. Minimum of 4 students to start and a maximum 6 to have enough attention for each.
2. Certified - Working with Children Check
3. All materials provided - just bring some snacks in case they get hungry.
4. Water, fruits and nibbles will be provided. Please advise dietary allergies.
5. If you like to drop off the child earlier or pick up later, it’s $15 per half hour.
6. Collection of completed pieces in about 4 weeks. (See OPTIONAL note above).
7. A negative RAT test result is required to be sent by 8:30am by text or email.
COVID-19 Safety:
The ensure the safety of all students, we are following these guidelines.
1. All members in the studio are fully vaccinated.
2. Please do not attend the class if any family member or child is unwell.
3. In case of class cancellation due to COVID-19 outbreaks, public health orders or shutdowns, credit notes will be issued and may be used towards any sessions within 12 months.
