All of our high quality programs and services are offered at affordable prices to our Newcastle and Hunter families and we are constantly evaluating needs and trends in the community to continue to provide relevant services.

YWCA Hunter is a women-led organisation that achieves positive change by providing advocacy, programs and services to support, empower and connect women and families for a stronger community. YWCA Hunter Region Inc. is part of the YWCA World and an affiliate of YWCA Australia.

PROGRAMS

★ KinderDance

A fun, upbeat dance class, providing children with a joy for movement, body awareness, coordination and gross motor skills.

★ Tots Circus Gym

A fun pre-school program that provides children with a joy for movement, improved coordination and gross motor skills, classes consist of warm up techniques, basic circus skills, followed by a modified gym circuit.

★ Self Defence for Teen Girls

This self defence program is tailored for teenage girls, with skills designed for rapid learning and targeted to some common strengths and abilities.

★ Empowering Boys to Become Better Men

An exciting series of practical sessions, held over 8 weeks, designed to support our youth to develop knowledge, understanding and practices to take control of their own emotional, social and physical wellbeing.
