Yara Balba Stables

Our Stable has a small family of riding horses, a 60m x 20m covered and all- weather riding arena, sheltered saddling yards and learning area with an adjoining tack-shed. We have a grassed and fenced show-jump area 50 x 80m in size , 500m grass track for fitness training and open riding – and a small cross country training course under development in the sloping treed hills ‘up the back’.

We also have a separate purpose built art studio, fully equipped workshop, old traditional farmhouse, newly constructed 3 bedroom fully accessible farmstay, small stables studio cabin and more.

RIDING INSTRUCTION

We run regular riding lessons at our Accredited Equestrian Centre.

Yara Balba Stables has a small number of riding horses ranging in size. We run regular accredited programmed, riding lessons at our boutique equestrian facilities in Mandalong (just off the M1 Freeway near Morisset NSW). After School riding lessons run weekly on Tuesday, to Friday and some Saturdays. We also hold occasional specialist clinics and riding activities on some weekends.

All lessons follow public school term dates, with 4 terms per year- Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. Riders must book in for a full term of lessons at the start of each term. Limited numbers and horses are available. Lessons run for 75 minutes and always include tacking/ un-tacking/ grooming the horse/pony, with our focus on positive learning experiences. Lessons run for around 75 minutes, plus set-up, tacking etc.
