Wagga Wagga Academy of Ballet

Wagga Wagga Ballet Academy was established in 1997 by Leanne Nicol to provide quality ballet and dance tuition to the budding stars of tomorrow. This Academy is dedicated to developing the individual talents of every student, whether vocational or recreational providing tuition in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop,Musical Theatre and Acro for dance.

Performances are staged at various local events to provide theatrical and stage experience. Formal Assessments: For those who wish to participate, Australian Institute of Classical Dance exams and assessments are conducted annually, as are Glenn Wood Tap exams.

Annual Performance: Students have the opportunity to perform in various local events throughout the year in addition to our own annual production at the Wagga Civic Theatre for which costumes are provided at a reasonable hire rate. This event is run like a professional show so that participants gain theatre experience and the audience is treated to an entertaining variety performance.

Member of Ausdance with adherence to Safedance practices for children. Qualified and Caring tuition provided by experienced instructors. Appropriate class sizes and reasonable prices.
