Established in 1960, Utassy has a rich history of performances and achievements, including the long-running Peter and the Wolf season (now in its 34th year), the 50th Anniversary performance at the Playhouse, and La Bohème Revisited accompanied by the Nicholas Chamber Orchestra.

We offer RAD and MDEC examinations, VCE Dance Units 1–4, special boys’ classes, and performance experiences including annual productions and the Peter and the Wolf season. Our Junior School program uses imagery and games to integrate children socially while building essential dance foundations such as musicality, spatial awareness, alignment, coordination, and stage presence.

From beginners to professionals, Utassy provides opportunities for every student to grow. Many of our past students have gone on to make impressive contributions in professional dance, theatre, music, art, and health industries.
