🏅 Meet the Owners

Trident Gymnastics is proudly owned and directed by husband-and-wife duo Tim Lees and Alyona Kvasha OLY.

- Alyona Kvasha OLY – Dual Ukrainian Olympian and European Champion in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics.

She competed at the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Olympics, achieving finalist rankings and inspiring athletes worldwide. With over 15 years of coaching experience in both Ukraine and Australia, Alyona now balances her passion for coaching with being a proud mum of three boys.

- Tim Lees – Former Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder and three-time Commonwealth Games medallist in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics. Tim represented Australia at three World Championships and multiple international events. With over 30 years of coaching experience, he is recognised globally by the Federation International de Gymnastique (FIG) as an expert coach in both MAG and WAG, holding the prestigious FIG III qualification.

Together, Tim and Alyona have designed a bespoke learning system that blends the best of Australian and European gymnastics curriculums. Their three training pillars – strength, coordination, and flexibility – ensure every child develops not only as a gymnast but also in a holistic sense.
