ThinkerLab

🤖 About us

ThinkerLab is a Melbourne-based coding and robotics academy designed to help kids aged 6–14 become confident problem-solvers. Founded by Kin, a mum who wanted more than passive screen time for her child, ThinkerLab focuses on hands-on STEM learning that builds focus, creativity and resilience. Whether in-person in Melbourne’s west and north or live online across Australia, every program is built to spark curiosity and give kids the tools to think clearly when challenges arise.

🌟 Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to empower children with real-world STEM skills while nurturing confidence, teamwork and creativity. We believe technology should be used to strengthen thinking, not replace it, and every class is designed to help kids grow both academically and personally.

👩‍💻 Our Programs

* Weekly Robotics & Coding Classes (Ages 6–14): Structured 8-week terms with small groups, where kids build robots, code them, and showcase their projects to parents.

* Game Design (Ages 9–13): Kids design and code their own playable video games using MakeCode Arcade, building maths and logical thinking along the way.

* School Holiday Workshops: High-energy robotics and coding camps where kids build, race and present their own robots, complete with take-home STEM kits.

* OSHC & Vacation Care Incursions: We bring robots, iPads and activities to your service, running end-to-end sessions for mixed-age groups with zero prep required.

* Skill Pathways: Beginner-friendly Scratch coding, intermediate Python and robotics, and advanced web development and competition projects — tailored to each child’s stage.

💖 Why families love us

Parents choose ThinkerLab for its safe, structured and child-focused approach. With small class sizes, WWCC-cleared educators and a strong emphasis on hands-on learning, kids stay engaged while building skills they can use beyond the classroom. Families love that every program ends with a showcase, giving children the confidence to present their ideas proudly.
