The Studio Kiama

💃 The Studio Kiama – Professional Training in a Nurturing Environment

🌟 About Us

The Studio is a vibrant dance, movement, and creative space located in the heart of Kiama. Since opening, we’ve been dedicated to helping students fall in love with themselves through confidence-building, energy-fuelling classes. Our focus is on developing both the technical skills and creative expression of every child, teen, and adult who walks through our doors. With a comprehensive schedule that includes ballet, contemporary, jazz, commercial, musical theatre, Pilates, yoga, strength and stretch, we provide a holistic approach to training that nurtures both body and soul.

✨ Dance Classes (Ages 3–17)

Our dance classes are designed to build body connectivity, confidence, and fun while maintaining strong technical training. Students learn a variety of pieces, rotating between commercial and contemporary styles for younger groups, while seniors enjoy style-specific classes. All students are encouraged to join our combined age group technique class, fostering community, camaraderie, and stronger technical foundations.

🩰 Ballet – R.A.D Curriculum

The Studio is proud to be Kiama’s only Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D) specialised studio. With R.A.D-trained ballet teachers, our students progress through internationally recognised grades while also benefiting from additional milestones and training unique to our curriculum. This ensures a solid technical and creative foundation in ballet, preparing students for both exams and performance opportunities.

💖 Why Families Love Us

Parents choose The Studio because it’s more than just a dance school—it’s a nurturing environment where children grow in confidence, discipline, and creativity. Families love that their kids are supported by passionate teachers, encouraged to express themselves, and given opportunities to shine both in class and on stage. With a strong focus on technique and artistry, The Studio helps children develop not only as dancers but as resilient, well-rounded individuals.
