🎶What Is Music Therapy?

Music therapy is an evidence-based allied health profession that uses music as a tool to achieve meaningful, non-musical outcomes. It supports individuals of all ages in improving their physical and mental wellbeing while enhancing overall quality of life.

Delivered either face-to-face or via telehealth, music therapy sessions are tailored to each individual and may include a variety of engaging, therapeutic activities such as:

Sessions are typically conducted one-on-one to ensure individualised support, but small group sessions (3–4 participants) are also available.

We work closely with participants, families, and carers to understand individual needs and develop customised therapy programs aligned with specific goals and outcomes.
