🎨 Creative Classes
Quirky Birds is all about sparking imagination! Our creative classes are designed for children who love the arts and want to explore painting, sewing, and craft projects. Kids experiment with materials, let their imagination run free, and create inspirational artworks they’ll be proud of.
🌞 Holiday Programs
During school holidays, we run full-day workshops (9:30–3:00) for ages 6–14. Children discover painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, and textiles, including sewing, knitting, felting, and crochet. These programs give kids the chance to dive deep into creativity while making new friends.
🎉 Parties
Looking for something different for your child’s next birthday? Quirky Birds offers themed art project parties where kids create and keep their own masterpieces. You bring the food, cake, and decorations—we bring the creativity! Parties run for two hours and are tailored to your child’s interests.
🧵 Sewing, Textiles & Art Classes
- Machine Sewing Lessons: Kids learn to safely use sewing machines, master essential skills, and follow commercial patterns to create practical projects.
- Hand Sewing Lessons: Children build fine motor skills and patience while learning stitches, threading, and simple patterns.
- Knitting, Crochet & Needle Felting: Fun, age-appropriate projects introduce kids to traditional crafts, encouraging creativity and appreciation for handmade work.
🖌️ Mixed Media Art & Craft (Ages 6–11)
Children explore drawing, painting, collage, textiles, sculpture, and recycled materials to create unique artworks. These classes nurture confidence, problem-solving, and emotional expression in a supportive environment.

At Quirky Birds, we make celebrations creative, hands-on, and unforgettable. Kids get to learn new skills, make something special, and take home their own creations.
🧵 Machine Sewing Parties
- Ages: 9+
- Maximum: 10 children
- Choose from fun projects like bags, pencil cases, scrunchies, hair bows, and more.
- Kids learn the basics of machine sewing while creating a practical item to take home.
- Price: $55 per head (may vary depending on project chosen).
âś‹ Hand Sewing / Felting Parties
- Maximum: 12 children
- Choose from hundreds of cute felt toys or pencil case designs.
- Kids learn hand sewing or wool needle felting basics and take home their adorable creation.
- Price: $50 per head (may vary depending on project chosen).
🎨 Art & Craft Parties
- Ages: 5+
- Maximum: 28 children
- With your input, we select two art/craft activities for guests to complete and take home.
- You may bring your own food, cake, and decorations.
- Parties last two hours.
- Price: $50–$55 per head, depending on chosen activities.
