The Outlook Riding Academy offers horse riders a truly unique experience on the Central Coast, combining well-schooled horses & ponies with an expert team of professional instructors.

Whether you want to simply relax and unwind, or focus on training and learning new skills, our friendly instructors will ensure that your safety and enjoyment is their top priority. Our horses, who enjoy their work as much as we do, are calm and sound so that you can be confident of a pleasurable ride. Our rides and lessons are social occasions too, with many riders forming great friendships which continue outside the stables.

Our horse riding lessons will help you to build your skills, knowledge and confidence on the ground and in the saddle. Riders can expect a fun and safe learning experience on a horse. Lessons may be presented in an arena, a small or large paddock, or on a short ride out.

Riding lessons span for 1-hour and include catching, grooming, tacking up the horse and riding. Some lessons may also include washing and feeding. We value horsemanship and horse wisdom as much as mounted learning so riders will be provided with opportunities to learn with, from, and on the horse.

MUMS, DADS & TINY TOTS

This 1-hour horse ride is a great way to start your day outside & for you to meet other parents living on the Central Coast.

This ride is designed for parents, guardians & grandparents, of a horse-crazed youngster where you will both be on horseback together. Your ride may include an obstacle course, treasure hunt, trail ride, or horseback games. Suitable for 3-year-olds to 5-year-olds.

Teaching a child the art of effective horsemanship, as opposed to simply giving lead rides is a completely different and learned skill. You can be, with our “ABC” program of Tiny Tot training that will teach your child attitude, balance, control and confidence (mind-body skills) that will serve him or her for the rest of their life. It’s the same program we use when teaching small children in our professional lessons. Research shows that children who grow up in a safe environment and have positive early learning experiences go on to become healthy adults, physically, emotionally and socially..
