🎨 About Us

The Little Artist Atelier is a creative project space designed to nurture young children’s imagination, confidence and love of learning. Founded by Janelle, a practising artist with over 10 years of experience and a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, the atelier blends fine arts with early childhood education. It’s a place where creativity, curiosity and play come together, helping children explore and express themselves through art.

🖌️ What We Offer

We provide open‑ended art invitations with gentle structure, encouraging children to experiment with painting, drawing, sculpture and clay. Inspired by both contemporary and historical art practices, our programs are guided by the principles of Reggio Emilia and the ‘100 Languages of Children’, as well as the Victorian and Australian Early Years Learning Framework.

🎨 Program Details

Our art sessions are beautifully designed for children aged 12 months to 6 years, with older and younger siblings always welcome to join. Classes run every Monday during the school term, from 10:00–11:00 AM, offering a calm, joyful space for kids to explore painting, drawing, sculpture and clay. We also offer engaging holiday art programs, giving families more opportunities to enjoy creative discovery together.

Our sensory‑rich experiences are thoughtfully designed for children aged 12 months to 6 years, though siblings of different ages are always welcome. Each program is crafted to spark curiosity, build independence and nurture confidence.
