🥋 Sydney Koshinkan – Koryu Uchinadi Martial Arts

At Sydney Koshinkan, we teach Koryu Uchinadi, a modern-day interpretation of traditional Okinawan self-defence created by world-renowned martial artist and historian Hanshi Patrick McCarthy (9th dan). Our comprehensive syllabus covers every aspect of physical confrontation — from striking and blocking to throws, takedowns, grappling, pressure point strikes, chokes, and ground fighting. Classes are built on real-life self-defence principles, helping students of all ages feel safe, confident, and prepared.
