What do we do?

Sydney Elite Chinese School is a weekend community language school in Sydney Australia, established in 2000 and registered in the Department of Education and Community of New South Wales Australia. It is the member school of NSW Federation of Community Language Schools and member school of Australian Chinese Language Schools Association. The founder and principal Mr. Jingfan Zhang is well known Chinese writer and founding Chairman of Australian Chinese Language Schools Association. The school has near 400 students and more than 25 staffs. The all language teachers have relevant qualification recognised by Education Department of NSW and local experiences. The main course is Mandarin language and other Chinese cultural courses including drawing, dancing, Chinese Kung-Fu, Taichi for adults, etc.

Since the school was founded, the school developed from 32 students in first term of 2000 to near 400 students in 2019, due to it's best reputation. We use 15 class rooms of Granville Public School currently, also have some equipments belongs to ourselves.

The management is well and strict, and teaching quality is excellent. Our school's reputation is well known in local Chinese community. Our students won so many awards, such as 2nd award of 2013 World Language Perfect Competition; 1st ,2nd ,3rd awards of world wide Chinese composition competition; Minister(DET) Awards of NSW ; HSK test ( world wide standard Chinese test ) highest level certificate; gold, silver and bronze awards in international Chinese Kung-Fu competitions; gold, silver and bronze awards of singing competition of Sydney Chinese schools, most high distinction results in Chinese knowledge competition among schools of NSW, silver award in 揑 got talent competition of Australia.

Our students used to join many activities in local Chinese community, such as culture learning trips to China , donation for earthquake in China , promoting Beijing Olympic Game and Shanghai world expo, 60th anniversary celebration for People's Republic of China , Sydney Chinese Arts Youth Concert, various drawing competitions and singing competitions.

Our school needs to develop stronger, we welcome more students from non-Chinese speaking background to join us. We hope charity organisations and kind people to support our school by various ways such as making beneficial policy, donation, volunteer, etc. Let's work together to promote Chinese language which will benefit Australia.
