Individualised coaching for children aged 6 to 16.

What do we do?

At SwishLab, we provide structured basketball coaching for children and teenagers, supporting players from their very first experience with basketball through to organised competition.

We keep our coaching groups intentionally small, aiming for an optimum 1 coach to 8 players, so every athlete receives meaningful guidance, feedback and attention.

Beyond basketball skills, we focus on developing confidence, teamwork, discipline and resilience — helping our players grow both on and off the court.

🏀 The SwishLab Player Pathway

Our year-round programs provide a clear development pathway from learning the fundamentals, to understanding how to play the game, and ultimately competing as part of a team.

Players train in groups suited to their age, experience and ability, allowing coaches to provide the right balance of challenge, support and progression.

Our accredited coaches work closely with their groups throughout the term, building consistency, trust and a strong understanding of each player's development.

⭐ iHeart Basketball — Learn to Love Basketball

Our beginner program provides a fun, positive and supportive introduction to the game.

Players develop the core basketball fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting and defence, while also improving coordination, confidence, teamwork and general game understanding.

Training uses structured drills, games and small-sided activities to help children learn while developing a genuine enjoyment of basketball.

⭐ Competition Prep — Learn to Play the Game

Competition Prep is the bridge between learning basketball skills and applying them in organised games.

Designed for players who already have an understanding of the fundamentals, sessions introduce more advanced concepts including spacing, passing and cutting, transition, defence, decision-making and small-sided competitive play.

It is ideal for players preparing to join a team, already playing competition basketball, or wanting to develop the skills and confidence needed to progress into the SwishLab Competition Team pathway.

This program is not designed for absolute beginners.

⭐ Competition Teams — Learn to Play Together

For players ready for organised competition, SwishLab provides a pathway into dedicated Competition Teams.

Players train together as squads, learning team offence, defence, transition, communication, player roles and how to compete effectively as a group.

Our SwishLab Competition Teams are currently competing through Hills Hornets Basketball Association in Castle Hill, providing players with the opportunity to put their development into practice in organised competition.

From 2027, our competition pathway will also expand into the City of Blacktown Basketball Association (CBBA), providing additional opportunities for players and families across Western Sydney.

Competition players receive dedicated squad training and game-day coaching, creating a direct connection between what they learn at training and how they perform in games.

From a child's first dribble to representing a SwishLab team, our goal remains the same:

Smile. Learn. Grow. Together. 🏀
