At Studi-O Dance School, we believe dance should be joyful, creative, and confidence-building for every child. Proudly serving Lake Macquarie families since 2008, our studios in Valentine and Gateshead offer a wide range of classes designed to nurture kids from their very first steps through to advanced performance levels.

👶 Baby Ballerinas & Co (Ages 2–5)

Our signature preschool program introduces toddlers and young children to dance through playful, low-pressure lessons. Using imaginative games, props, music, and storytelling, children develop rhythm, timing, posture, and coordination while building independence and a sense of belonging. Parents are welcome to watch and share in the fun.

🩰 Ballet

Following ACID and RAD syllabi, our ballet classes focus on grace, posture, musical awareness, and confidence. These fundamentals help children progress in ballet and other dance styles.

✨ Jazz

Energetic and versatile, jazz classes let kids dance to the latest hits while learning coordination, alignment, and modern jazz techniques.

👞 Tap Dancing

Tap is lively, rhythmic, and rewarding. Students learn coordination and musicality through PDA’s Unique Technique Syllabus, developing both skill and self-expression.

👯 Troupe

Teamwork and performance come alive in our troupe classes, where students learn routines for competitions and special events while making lasting friendships.

🌊 Contemporary

Fluid and expressive, contemporary dance encourages individuality and creativity, helping students explore their own unique style.

🎵 Hip Hop

Fun, dynamic, and full of energy, hip hop classes teach breaking, locking, and popping, guided by passionate instructors who support kids at their own pace.

🤸 Acrobatics

Acro classes build strength, balance, and agility in a safe environment, combining gymnastics-inspired skills with dance for a powerful, creative experience.
