Founded in 1996 by Ian Westrip OAM, Stage Door is one of Perth’s most respected performing arts schools. We provide a fun, friendly, and supportive environment where students of all ages can build self-confidence, resilience, and creativity while fostering a lifelong love of the arts. For us, the study of performing arts is not just preparation for the stage—it’s preparation for life.

👧 Children’s Classes (Ages 6–16)

Our children’s programs in singing, dancing, acting, and musical theatre are perfect for beginners or budding performers. Classes focus on building confidence, teamwork, and performance skills in a fun and energetic environment. Students can enrol in one, two, or all three disciplines.

🎶 Junior Musical Theatre Course (Ages 6–18)

This exciting course develops stagecraft and performance skills by rehearsing a popular musical, culminating in a live performance at the end of the semester.

☀️ Holiday Programs

Our Summer Fun and Winter Fun programs are packed with drama games, singing, dancing, and rehearsals of songs and scenes from musicals and movies. Each program ends with a showcase performance for family and friends.

🎓 Adult Classes & WACE Courses

For adults, we offer classes to refine stagecraft or prepare for university-level performing arts courses. Our WACE-accredited programs give students an edge when auditioning for academies or pursuing professional careers.

Need a rehearsal, performance, or exhibition space? Our versatile studio is available for hire, providing a professional environment for creative projects.
