👧 About Us

Established in Ballarat in 1978, Sovereign Calisthenic College is the longest-running calisthenics club in the region. We pride ourselves on nurturing and developing students while challenging them to reach their full potential. Our programs combine dance, gymnastics, musical theatre, apparatus work, and simplified ballet, offering variety and creativity in every class.

🏫 Our Studios

We are proud to have purpose-built studios at 4/898 Humffray St South, Ballarat. With sprung floors, air-conditioning, and a welcoming parents’ area, our facilities provide a safe and comfortable environment where students can thrive.

⭐ Our Classes

Sovereign offers classes for all ages, from toddlers to adults:

- Tiny Tots (18 months–3 years)

- Tinies (3–7 years)

- Sub Juniors (10 years & under)

- Juniors (13 years & under)

- Intermediates (17 years & under)

- Seniors (16 years & over)

- Masters (26 years & over)

We also provide specialised classes in Acro, Musical Theatre, and Ballet, plus opportunities for Solo, Duo, and Trio competitions across Victoria.

👯 Team Classes

Our weekly team classes balance fun and teamwork with skill development. Students learn routines across multiple genres of dance and performing arts, with several performance opportunities each year. Beyond technique, classes nurture leadership, discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence in a supportive environment.

🎭 Solo Classes

Students can choose to compete in Solo, Duo, or Trio competitions or take part in Recreational Solos for personal growth without competition pressure. Every year, the Annual Sovereign Solo Concert gives all students the chance to perform for an appreciative audience.
