Sara Art Centre

🏡 About us

Welcome to Sara Art Centre, a creative hub in Melbourne where imagination and well‑being come together. Founded by Iranian‑Australian artist, educator, and psychologist Sara Foroughi, the centre blends art and psychology to nurture children, adolescents, and adults. With over two decades of experience, Sara has seen first‑hand how art can transform lives, helping young minds grow in confidence while giving families a safe, supportive space to explore creativity. Our light‑filled studio includes a playroom for siblings and a relaxing waiting area for parents, making it a welcoming environment for the whole family.

🌱 Our Mission

At Sara Art Centre, our mission is to integrate art and psychology to support holistic development. We believe art is more than just painting or drawing—it’s a pathway to emotional regulation, mindfulness, and resilience. By combining creative exploration with psychological support, we provide a safe space where children and adults can express themselves freely, discover their inner worlds, and build confidence through creativity.
