At Santai Studio, we believe art should be joyful, calming, and accessible to everyone. Founded in 2022 by Ashlea Kellner, who discovered pottery as a way to relax and express herself, the studio has grown into a welcoming community space for adults, kids, and families. Santai means “relax” in Indonesian, and that’s exactly what we offer—a place to slow down, nourish your soul, and explore your creativity.

👶 Kids & Teens Classes

Children aged 8+ can enjoy hand‑building with clay, creating desk pets, bobble heads, bowls, cups and more. These fun, guided sessions help kids develop confidence, imagination, and hands‑on skills while making pottery they can proudly take home.

🎨 Adults Classes

Adults can join hand‑building workshops to craft bowls, vases, mugs, or pet dishes. BYO drinks are welcome, and every piece is glazed and fired at the studio. It’s the perfect way to unwind, learn something new, and connect with others.

⚱️ Pottery Wheel Experiences

For a more immersive experience, small private sessions let you try wheel throwing. You’ll watch a demo, practise on the wheel, and choose two pots to keep, glazed in your favourite colour.
