• Contemporary, Vogue, Waacking, Popping, Progression, Heels – expressive and creative classes for older

Founded by Kirsten Burt in 2004, Pure Funk Dance is more than a studio – it’s a family and community. We bring dancers together through events, workshops, competitions, showcases, social media, charity, and fundraisers. Our choreographers are experienced educators who teach in schools and hold child‑safe clearances, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for every student.

Our diverse team of dancers come from international backgrounds and specialise in styles ranging from Hip Hop and Jazz Funk to Latin Ballroom and Breakdance. They’ve performed for television, film, commercials, music videos, theatre, and live events – bringing real‑world experience into every class.
