Penny Lane's Music Workshop

Founded by Richard Lane, Penny Lane's offer it's students an inspirational musical journey with a focus on learning to play music with others and relaxed, enjoyable performance opportunities.

We have created an engaging learning space and a fun-filled and enriching curriculum, based on our very clear understanding that children (and adults) learn best when they are having fun!

We teach all ages from babies to Grandies.

This philosophy is at the heart of our school and everything we do.

We teach: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano, Voice, Violin, Viola, Cello, Ukulele, Celtic Harp and Hand Drumming.

Penny Lane’s employs highly experienced industry professionals, offering private tutoring for those looking to really hone their own skills as well as buddy and group lessons for those looking for a communal musical experience.

OUR LESSONS

⭐ BABIES & TODDLERS LESSONS

~ MUSIC ~ MOVEMENT ~ RHYTHM ~ RHYME ~

…for babies, toddlers and little kids.

Baba Lala is a joyous celebration of early childhood created to inspire a life-long love of music and build a rich connection between music, fun, family and community. With an emphasis on multi-cultural song, creativity and joyful self-expression, we explore our ability learn and grow through the joy and magic of music and movement.

Together we celebrate all the precious milestones through rhythm, melody and movement in our friendly, relaxed and inclusive sessions that nurture and encourage creative musical experiences with family and friends.

With mixed age groups for a more natural interactive and fun experience that also embraces siblings playing and growing together.

Casual classes, so you can come when it works well for you and your family.

⭐ KIDS LESSONS

Whether you are learning for fun, aiming to get into a secondary or tertiary music programme, cramming for a performance or have special needs, we’re here to help with our customised lesson plans.

We also specialise in homeschool classes and workshops where we cover musical history, modern music culture, theory, practice and performance, as well as some science, maths, human biology and musical geography thrown in for good measure. We can help put ticks in lots of curricular boxes to keep your moderators smiling.
