Parkes Services Squash Centre is located in Western NSW. Parkes is a beautiful country town with a strong sporting presence and wonderful a wonderful small community feel.

Increasing player numbers, promoting juniors and exposing more people to the game of squash is the primary focus of the Club.

ABOUT US

Jay and Judy Kross are Parkes locals - both attended local Primary and High Schools and both have been part of Parkes Squash for many years. Jay as a squash and Volley Squash player and Judy through playing Volley Squash.

The couple took over in 2014, when previous owner and mentor Mrs Fay Blackstock retired. The Kross' have 3 children, Henry 11, Artie 7 and Eadie 3. Henry is the current 2020 National Champion and has won the NSW State Titles Under 11 Division for 3 straight years.

As well as squash, Jay is a qualified Fibreglasser by trade and operates Central West Fibreglass Repairs of a day and is also the President of Green Shield Squash and a Director of the Squash NSW Board.

Judy's background is in Diversional Therapy having also completed her degree in Health Science - majoring in Leisure and Health.

The family is sports mad - apart from squash and volley squash, between them they play hockey, soccer, cricket and touch football.
