Origin Mixed Martial Arts

🌟 About us

At Origin Mixed Martial Arts, we believe martial arts is more than just training—it’s about learning new skills, building confidence, and making friends in a warm, social environment. Founded in 2022 by professional fighters and Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu black belts Phil Kim and Nobby Kuandyk, our academy is located on Sydney’s lower north shore and welcomes students aged 5 and above, of all fitness and skill levels. With a spacious, fully equipped gym and experienced coaches, we provide a safe and supportive place to begin your martial arts journey.

🎯 Our Mission

Our mission is to help kids, teens, and adults grow stronger—physically and mentally—through martial arts. By teaching Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu (BJJ), Muay Thai, and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), we aim to develop discipline, respect, and resilience while keeping classes fun, engaging, and social.

🥋 Our Programs

* Kids & Teenagers (5–14 yrs) – Specially tailored BJJ and Muay Thai classes designed for growing minds and bodies. Children learn practical techniques in a fun way, while building discipline, respect, and confidence to stand up against bullying.

* Adults & Teens (15+ yrs) – Classes in BJJ, Muay Thai, and MMA taught by high‑level coaches. Whether you’re starting out or looking to advance, our programs challenge fitness, technique, and self‑defence skills in a supportive environment.

💖 Why families love us

Parents appreciate our safe, welcoming atmosphere and certified instructors who genuinely care about each child’s progress. Kids love the energy of our classes, the friendships they form, and the confidence they gain. Families know they’re joining a community where growth, respect, and fun go hand in hand.
