🥋 What is Judo?

Judo, meaning “the gentle way,” is a traditional Japanese martial art and modern Olympic sport. It teaches players to use skill and technique to overcome opponents, combining standing throws with ground work grappling. Practised worldwide, judo is known for its benefits in fitness, coordination, flexibility, self-confidence, discipline, and emotional control. It’s a safe sport—no strikes, kicks, or weapons—focused on respect, teamwork, and personal growth.
