🌟 About Us

Nunawading Gymnastics & Sports Club has been part of the local community since 1944, originally founded by Constable Bill Lucas to give young people a safe and positive place to grow through sport. Today, we are a non-profit, community-based club affiliated with Gymnastics Victoria and Gymnastics Australia. This means our programs meet national standards, with access to competitions, coach education, and policies that keep our gymnasts safe and supported.

👶 KinderGym (2–5 years)

Our KinderGym program is all about fun, movement, and early skill development. Children build:

• Gross motor skills

• Balance and agility

• Body awareness and coordination

• Concentration and social confidence

Through playful activities, little ones gain the foundations of gymnastics while enjoying themselves in a safe, nurturing environment.

🤸 Gymnastics for All (GfA)

From beginners to advanced levels, GfA classes are designed for children and teens of all abilities. With options from Level 1 through Level 6, plus classes for ages 11+, kids can progress at their own pace while building strength, flexibility, and confidence.

👯 GfA Teams & GymStar

For children who love teamwork, these programs encourage collaboration, skill-sharing, and performance opportunities.

🤹 Acrobatic Gymnastics (ACRO)

Acrobatics is the perfect team sport for kids of all ages. It develops balance, coordination, posture, and safe landing skills, while challenging both mind and body to reach new goals.

✨ Artistic & Rhythmic Gymnastics

We offer Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG), and Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG), giving children the chance to explore different disciplines and find the style that suits them best.

Our holiday sessions keep kids active, engaged, and learning new skills during school breaks.
