Norwood Ballet Centre

💃 Northern Dance Academy – Inspiring Kids Through Dance

🌟 Our Team

Our small but passionate team of experienced teachers are dedicated to nurturing every child’s love for dance. With warmth and care, we help students build self-esteem, confidence, and joy in movement, while also recognising and guiding gifted dancers to reach their full potential.

🩰 Classical Ballet

From Prep Ballet for little ones to advanced Pointe and Strength & Stretch classes, our ballet program grows with your child. Each level builds technique, discipline, and artistry, giving students a strong foundation in classical dance.

🎶 Jazz & Hip Hop

Starting from age 4, kids can explore energetic jazz and hip hop styles. With levels ranging from prep to senior, children develop rhythm, coordination, and confidence while enjoying upbeat, modern dance.

👟 Street Tap

Tap classes introduce children to rhythm and musicality in a fun, engaging way. With programs for ages 4 through teens, kids learn timing, coordination, and performance skills.

🌊 Contemporary Dance

For older children, contemporary classes encourage creativity, expression, and fluid movement. Students explore new ways of dancing while building strength and flexibility.

🏆 Exams & Competitions

We prepare students for ballet exams and dance competitions, helping them achieve milestones and celebrate their progress. Many of our dancers have gone on to win prestigious awards and pursue professional careers.
