OUR CLASSES

★ Ballet

North Shore Dance Academy offers outstanding classical ballet tuition for students from three and a half years of age to professional and teacher level. Ballet classes are accompanied by a virtuoso pianist.

★ Contemporary

Contemporary Dance is an enjoyable and important part of dance training and helps develop strength, flexibility, movement and style. Contemporary Dance is performed in many classical ballet companies as well as Contemporary Dance companies. This form of dance is important for enhancing versatility.

★ Jazz and Hip Hop

North Shore Dance Academy’s Jazz classes are fun, high energy and performed to the latest hip hop, dance and pop music. Many students enjoy jazz as a stand-alone dance form. It is also very helpful for enhancing the versatility of classical ballet students.

★ Pilates

Pilates is the perfect compliment to dancing. It strengthens and lengthens muscles. It is a series of movements that will stabilise and strengthen your core. The Pilates/Stretch class will also boost flexibility and joint mobility. Students from age 10 years of age and upwards can attend the Pilates/Stretch class.
