For more than 40 years, Nippon-Den Kempo Junseikan International Karate Club has been helping families discover the benefits of martial arts. As a not-for-profit organisation, our focus is on community, tradition, and growth rather than profit. Rooted in the Goju Ryu style of karate, our club carries a proud lineage that connects directly back to Chojun Miyagi Sensei, the founder of Goju Ryu KarateāDo. This means your children are learning authentic skills passed down through generations of true masters.

Our journey began when John Ingham Sensei travelled to Japan in 1984 to train under Tomoharu Kisaki Sensei (9th Dan), one of the most respected Goju Ryu masters. Through private lessons, John absorbed the same teachings Kisaki Sensei received from Chojun Miyagi himself. Today, Glen van Boven Sensei continues this tradition, ensuring that every student benefits from this direct and genuine connection to karateās roots.
