Our pre-school department is the official location for Ready Set Dance and Ballet in Newcastle, offering a joyful introduction to dance. We offer elite training through our part-time, full-time, and extension programs, all known for their success. For adults over 55, we have the Silver Swans program, allowing them to enjoy ballet in a supportive environment.

ABOUT US
Newcastle Dance Academy, founded by Tracy Caldwell and Roxanne McCourtie, began its journey in 1996 when we acquired a modest studio with just 10 weeks left in the year. From humble beginnings, we navigated through various locations, initially renting church halls, until finding a more permanent home at the Hobart Road premises in 1999. However, the June 2007 floods brought significant devastation, prompting us to seek new premises. In 2008, we acquired the Broadmeadow Glass and Aluminium building, transforming it into a purpose-built complex boasting six studios. Today, this complex serves as a vibrant hub for over 200 students.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to offer parents unparalleled guidance on quality dance education and access to top-tier instruction. Our dedicated staff, comprised of industry professionals, fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all.
Fully accredited by the Royal Academy of Dance, our instructors undergo continuous professional development, ensuring they stay at the forefront of dance education. Our passion for nurturing young talents is evident in every aspect of our operation. Committed to child safety, all our staff members hold valid Working with Children checks.
