ABOUT US
Founding Menai Music Principal Craig Woodward started Menai Music up with some loyal students left without a home after the closing of a local music school in 2008.
The strong reputation Craig confirmed as a teacher and leader gave him the courage to open his own school when his workplace closed doors late 2008. Officially starting Menai Music in January 2009 Craig offered Singing, Song Writing, Guitar, Piano & Drums to his humble 30 or so students.
Over the years Craig has built a business that has succeeded from his continued experience, confidence, employment of quality/gifted staff and family friendly attitude to the world of Music tuition and the Performing arts.
Currently Menai Music employs many staff members offering Piano, Singing, Guitar, Ukulele, Drums, Song Writing, Performance & Recording Services. Menai Music have a current roster of six days teaching lessons Monday through to Saturday. With their reputation and popularity spreading mainly through word of mouth from happy families and students alike. Most students who join Menai Music stay with them for their musical tuition throughout primary and secondary school.
The staff and parents at Menai Music really get to see the growth from week to week and this is no more evident than when they perform at the Menai Music Showcase held annually in June/July each year. Above all Menai Music is proud to be a non threatening – Confidence Building – Family friendly school where no student goes without attention. Our staff are the key to our success and actively take onboard each students individual requirements, gifts, strengths and weaknesses to fully help and understand each students expectations in imparting their valuable knowledge.
