💃 Melbourne Institute of Dance – Inspiring Every Step

👧 Our Classes

Melbourne Institute of Dance offers Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance for children, teens, and adults in Melbourne’s inner eastern suburbs. Whether your child dreams of a career in dance or simply wants to express themselves through movement, our classes nurture creativity, discipline, and confidence.

🩰 Classical Ballet

We understand the expectations of ballet in the 21st century. Our training combines the rich traditions of Russian methodology with modern industry knowledge, ensuring Australian dancers are prepared to shine on the international stage. Ballet at MID helps children develop strength, grace, and resilience while learning the value of dedication.

🎶 Contemporary Dance

Reflecting today’s ever-changing artistic landscape, our contemporary programme encourages self-expression, creativity, and adaptability. With guidance from our experienced team, students explore movement in new ways, building confidence and artistry that extends beyond the studio.
