Manly Warringah Softball Association (MWSA)

Based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, MWSA is one of the most successful softball associations in NSW.

Teeball + Softball are inclusive team sports and our competition has a grade and team to cater for every player - from absolute beginners through to our Olympic & Aussie Spirit representatives! Everyone is welcome to join the MWSA community.

Our summer competition begins in October and ends in March (with a break for the summer school holidays). All matches are played at one location: Abbott Road Diamonds, North Curl Curl.

Here's how our Saturday competition is organised:

Ages 3+ : Blastball. This is a free program for preschoolers which introduces the basics of softball (fielding, catching, throwing, batting and running) to young children. No complex rules, no teams and no personal equipment required.

Ages 5+: Teeball. Teams are formed for girls and boys to enjoy learning this fun sport.

Ages 10+: Modball. A bridge between Teeball and Softball, with modified rules. Live pitching is introduced however a Tee will still be used if there has been no hit off the live pitch.

Ages 12+/women: Softball.

In addition, we offer a mixed Slow Pitch competition across shorter seasons on a Friday evening and from time to time, opportunities for ladies to learn softball skills in social setting one evening during the week.
