Little Learners Bulimba

📚 Welcome to Little Learners School Readiness, Bulimba

Located at 1/90–94 Oxford Street, our space is designed to inspire young learners and provide a safe, welcoming environment for children at every stage of development.

🕒 What Happens in Class

Each 2-hour session is carefully structured to balance fun and learning. Children move through informal group work, teacher-led activities, individual tasks, and paired rotations. Morning tea is enjoyed on our back deck under the shade of a beautiful tree—a calming break before diving back into learning.

✏️ Program Content

Our program focuses on building the essential skills children need for school:

• Literacy: Early reading strategies, sound and letter recognition, word recognition, fine motor skills (pencil grip), letter formation, and handwriting.

• Numeracy: Counting, number recognition, and simple maths language (big/small, up/down, more/less).

We begin with an informal assessment to tailor learning to each child’s prior knowledge. A formal School Readiness Assessment is also available upon request.

💡 Class Philosophy

We believe children learn best when they feel safe, happy, and confident. Social and emotional development is our priority, as these skills are the foundation for success throughout schooling. We encourage independence, responsibility, and resilience, while supporting parents in helping their children thrive.
