Founded in 1997, Lions Den Academy has grown into one of NSW’s leading martial arts schools, specialising in Boxing, Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, and Wrestling. With trainers who have competed at top levels both locally and internationally, our academy combines world-class expertise with a welcoming, family-friendly environment.

🌟 Our Facilities

We provide everything students need to train safely and effectively, including a boxing ring, speed ball, floor-to-ceiling ball, punching bags, Olympic weights, a matted wrestling area, and exercise bikes. We also offer affordable training equipment and clothing.

💪 Our Classes

⭐ Kids’ Classes – A fun introduction to martial arts, combining striking, wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Children gain fitness, discipline, and confidence, with safe sparring and games included.

⭐ No Gi BJJ – Grappling-based training focused on leverage, body mechanics, and submissions like arm-locks and chokes.

⭐ Boxing – Led by experienced coach Joe Laferla, classes cover technique, fitness, and conditioning for all levels.

⭐ Kickboxing – Combining punches, kicks, elbows, and knees, suitable for beginners through to advanced students.

⭐ MMA – Bringing together striking, wrestling, and submissions into one seamless discipline.

⭐ Wrestling – Based on Olympic freestyle wrestling, adapted to complement MMA and BJJ training.
