Life Centre Music School

🎶 Early Childhood Music Education

At Life Centre Music, we believe music is one of the most powerful tools for a child’s growth. Founded in 1987 as the School of Developmental Music, we were the first in Launceston to focus on early childhood music development. For over 33 years, we’ve nurtured children through a multi-sensory approach that builds both an understanding of and a love for music.

🌟 Our Approach

Inspired by the Kodály method, our program is designed to enhance every area of a child’s development—creativity, confidence, focus, and communication. With interactive lessons that engage the senses, children learn not only musical skills but also important life skills that support their overall growth.

🎵 Our Legacy

More than 3,500 students have passed through our school, many of whom are now music directors, teachers, and performers. Today, we’re proud to welcome second-generation families, showing the lasting impact of our program across decades.

💖 Why Families Love Us

Parents appreciate our high-quality, educationally sound program that makes music accessible and enjoyable. Children love the interactive, playful lessons, while families value the way music strengthens development, builds confidence, and creates lifelong memories.
